Game of Thrones to end after season eight in 2018

Game of Thrones – the record-breaking dream show TV arrangement – will end after its eighth season, American supporter HBO has affirmed.

HBO programming boss Casey Bloys made the declaration at the Television Critics Association’s gathering.

The seventh season – made up of seven scenes rather than the typical 10 – is normal in summer one year from now, while the last season will be in 2018.

Round of Thrones depends on books composed by George R Martin.

Presently the project has overwhelmed the source material, which means makers are telling a story nobody has perused some time recently.

Turn off “conceivable”

Talking on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California, Mr Bloys said the quantity of scenes for the last season was yet to be resolved.

“We’ll take the same number of as the (makers) will give us,” he said.

Mr Bloys did not preclude a twist off, saying that “we’re interested in it, (the makers) aren’t against it, yet there’s no solid arranges at this moment”.

A year ago, Game of Thrones won a record 12 Emmy Awards for an arrangement in a solitary year.

The arrangement has gotten 23 designations – another record – in front of the current year’s yearly function to be held in September.
