Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was established on September 25, 1969 when Leaders of Muslim countries met in Rabat, Morocco. The OIC was framed as an image of Islamic solidarity and honesty of the Muslim world.

Need for the establishment of OIC

Turkey took an interest in the World War I (WWI) in favor of Axis Powers and was crushed. The Allies, then, marked the Treaty of Sevres with Turkey on August 10, 1920 which took away vast cuts of Ottoman region and circulated them among the victors of war.

India who had effectively involved Jammu and Kashmir in 1948, assaulted Pakistan in 1965. What’s more, in 1967 Israel assaulted 3 Arab nations: Egypt, Jordan and Syria.
