Pakistan have turned into the main Test group surprisingly since the International Cricket Council rankings were presented in 2003.
The group – who have supplanted India at the top – have not played a Test at home in six years for security reasons.
Pakistan, who drew their late Test arrangement against England, are the fifth group to beat the rankings.
“For us, the main positioning is not a destination but rather part of an excursion,” chief Misbah-ul-Haq said.
Pakistan were named the main side after the Test amongst India and the West Indies at the Port of Spain was relinquished.
India are second in the rankings with 110 focuses, while England and Australia are in joint third place on 108 focuses.
